- Aneurysm: Weaking of arterial wall (may bulge out as a result)
- Angiogram: Imaging test that shoots contrast up blood vessels and takes x-rays
- Arteriovenous Malformation: Malformation of blood vessels where arteries shunt directly into veins

- Bone Flap: Section of the skull that is cut out during surgery of head

- Craniotomy: Cut that opens the cranium (skull) in order to operate on the brain
- CT Scan: Computed Tomography Scan

- EEG: Electroencephalogram
- Embolization: Blockage of a blood vessel to prevent blood flow
- Endovascular: “Occuring within the blood vessels”
